Ten days before his wedding, a single-vehicle accident left Patric Young paralyzed from the waist down.
While many would call this life-changing, for Patric, it was life-affirming. During his recovery, he realized a harsh truth: the healthcare system is designed for survival, but it often ignores the resources needed for true independence.
Just four months after his injury, while still in intensive therapy, Patric launched the Patric Young Foundation. We provide the financial, emotional, and physical support necessary to bridge the gap between "medical care" and a "meaningful life."

Our mission at the Patric Young Foundation is to spread joy, inspire hope, and offer economic relief to those lost in the darkness of their circumstances following a life-altering Spinal Cord Injury.
